The Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. This was an exciting site to work on, full of possibilities. After some visual brainstorming, the look of the site started to take form - pulling in elements from both the city of Missoula (where the film festival is hosted) and the scenic Montana landscape. The purpose of including such a range of visual elements was to demonstrate the range of films that may be included (see festival description below). The Festival showcases a cross-section of nonfiction films from all genres, styles, formats and production dates, from the most innovative and timely new films to classics and rare historic works.
